报告题目：Boundaries of Hyperbolic Components of Cubic Polynomials

摘要：

In this talk, we introduce several results on the topology and geometry of the boundaries of hyperbolic components of 

cubic polynomials in the slice S_p in which the polynomial has a periodic critical point of period p. It is showed 

that the boundary of a capture component in S_1 is a quasicircle. For p>=2, it is proved that for a special unbounded 

hyperbolic component in S_p, there is an embedded image of a relevant cut-open quadratic Julia set on it boundary. 

This answered a problem posted by J. Milnor.
